We are proud to offer our dignified Direct Basic Funeral Option which is carried out with the care and consideration that you would expect form our Family owned and run Funeral Directing business. This is conducted in accordance to guidelines set down by the National Association of Funeral Directors for a basic funeral.

There is no facility for 'Viewing' the deceased prior to the funeral if you choose the Basic Funeral Service. If you would like to have this facility you will need to ask for our Basic Plus Funeral Service, or for a greater choice of coffins our Traditional Funeral Service.



A full service at the Crematorium or Cemetery is welcomed with all our funeral services and at a church with all our Traditional Funeral Services.

Our services for the Direct Basic Funeral include :-

Cost - £950.00 plus disbursements

• Provision of the Funeral Director's services.
   
• Attending to all the necessary arrangements - liasing with Ministers, Doctors, Cemeteries, Crematorium, hospitals, coroners etc..
   
• Full uniformed staff on the day of the funeral and throughout the performance of our duties.
   
• Providing a dignified Oak coloured coffin fitted with four polished coffin handles, engraved name plate and cotton inside lining. A quality gown will be provided or the relatives can provide clothing if they feel it is appropriate.
   
• Transfer of the deceased from place of death to our premises during normal working hours.
   
• Care of the deceased prior to the funeral.
   
• Provision of our purpose built hearse to convey the deceased to the crematorium or cemetery of the Clients choice.

In addition to our charges some or all of the following
disbursements may be payable.

• Crematorium fees (These can vary from £230 - £545)
• Cemetery Grave fees for a burial
• Minister or Humanist Officiant fees - (£90 to £110)
• Doctors fees for cremation certificates - £147
  (If the Death is reported to the Coroner these will not be payable)
